Trio to chair Haus Committee

Generally accepted as the most important and most active of our committees, the Haus Committee will be lead by a team of three. Our new DH President Tom Shinn has appointed as chairmen men of his committee last year's chair Jeff Graff, outgoing president and a past Haus chair Hubert Vahrenhorst, and a newcomer to the position Joe Stephany, Jr.. More than any other group the Haus Committee is responsible as well as large-scaled projects.

Paul Geiger returns as membership chairman, assisted by Michon Shinn. Tom Shinn, himself, has assumed the position of festival chair, and has asked Buddy Hill to be his associate. Both have experience in producing past Oktoberfests.

We're going to try something new a last-Saturday social.
At its January meeting the Board of Director decided to consider something new: a fourth or fifth Saturday social. We want your input on this. Is it a good idea or a bad one? Please let us know what you think. The first would be a speckled-trout dinner on Saturday, March 31.
