NOLHAM
New Orleans Living History of the American Military Troupe, Inc.
(Founded 1999)

Purpose

Come join this group of history buffs who meet on the third Thursday of the month at the Deutsches Haus.
Sometimes members bring items to sell or simply present to the group.
Dues are optional and young people/veterans are encouraged to participate.
We host speakers, movies and other events to raise awareness of the sacrifices of veterans.
Past activities include participation in reenactments to commemorate events at the National WW2 Museum,
hosting displays at Veterans Day and Memorial Day celebrations,
providing funding for local essay contests hosted by the NO Vets council,
participation in various parades to represent the various branches of service from 20th century conflicts.
Each month, we discuss upcoming national and local events as well as attendance at past events.
