The end is NEAR!!!  After, 82 years, the Deutsches Haus at 200 South Galvez will be moving to a new location.  Permission was granted by the State of Louisiana/LSU for one LAST OKTOBERFEST at this address.

To commemorate our historic location and its closing the Deutsches Haus is issuing a commemorative historical program covering our 82 YEARS OF GERMAN HERITAGE, culture, language, music, food and beer.

You or your company has the opportunity to be part of this historical document, which will surely become a collector’s item.  It will contain numerous pages of historical facts about our German history, along with menus and listings of beverages, food, souvenirs, activities, sponsors, boosters, music and a site map.  This will be our biggest and BEST OKTOBERFEST on South Galvez,  but, sadly our last festival at this address.

To ensure that we can safely accommodate more guests we will be closing the 200 block of South Galvez, taking down the front wall thus providing a larger area for our attendees.  Our best estimate is that there could be over 25,000 guests during the 10 day festival.  Each attendee will receive one if these collectable programs.

Sponsor ads can be paid by cash, check, or in kind products, and or services used at the Oktoberfest.  The Deutsches Haus is a non-profit charitable organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Code Section 501c3.  All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  Consult your tax advisor for further advice.
