Deutsches Haus is a Non Profit Organization with rental proceeds helping maintain our facility and charities we support.  We are a landmark in the New Orleans area since the 1920’s and today the German heritage tradition continues. 

Our newly renovated rooms have a traditional German flare and styling while offering a picture perfect setting for your up coming event.   Our German style hall has three inside rooms that flow together leading to a walled German Biergarten with a large band stand and a beer bar. 

Our hall provides a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for your wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, sweet 16 parties, Christmas parties, graduation parties, retirement parties, award ceremonies, cocktail parties and receptions, office parties, company meetings,  club meetings, wedding and baby showers, after funeral gatherings and tea’s.
 

The facility has a total of 6820 square feet.

Our hall can accommodate as few as 25 guests to a maximum of 500 guests.  Tables and chairs are supplied with your rental. The hall is totally non-smoking to provide your guests with a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.
 

Deutsches Haus Rental Hall is easy to find and convenient to get to from anywhere in the Metro New Orleans area.  We are located at 200 South Galvez Street, New Orleans, Louisiana which is one block off Canal Street. We have parking both on the street and on our property. 

We offer rentals 7 days a week, morning, afternoon and evenings based on availability and at rental rates as follows and based on a minimum 25 guests to a maximum of 500 guests: 

   RENTAL RATES:
3 hour rental at a rate of $700.00
4 hour rental at a rate of $725.00
 Each additional hour at a rate of    $100.00

 RENTAL INCLUDES:
Security Officer (One included in base
rental and additional Officer(s) may be required at $140 per Officer)           

Cleanup after event
Tables and Chairs set up
Bartender
(One included in base rental and depending on
Service required each  additional Bar Tender is $75.00)

RENTAL DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
To reserve our Hall a deposit of one Half of the total rental cost.
Two weeks prior to your event, the remaining balance is due.

     SECURITY DEPOSIT: 

     A $200.00 Security Deposit is required two weeks before the event; and is completely refundable if no monies are due Deutsches Haus and no damages to our facilities.  

SET UP:
A 1 ½ hour set up before the rental time is included and any other times require special arrangements with an additional $25.00 fee.

(No outside beverages; we offer a cash bar, one price open bar per person and Bier by the Keg)

      FOOD (Deutsches Haus offers no Catering at this time and the Kitchen is not  available for the rental.) We have a list of caterers to help you prepare for your event or you may choose your own caterer with our approval.

You may provide your own food items using our tables for serving.  No service is  provided for serving, heating and keeping food warm nor do we provide any products or utensils for food service.
